| Another good test of the Bulls play off credentials this week against an in form Doncaster side.
Hill straight into the squad? Maybe Tafua back in the side as well to freshen things up a little.

| I'd like Donny to do well in general, but if they are down to the bare bones we need to be ruthless to take the opportunity to get points difference nearer Yorks.

| I think points difference will be the deciding factor. York have to go to Toulouse still. That will be a brutal game. Toulouse then have to come to us the week after. If Toulouse beat York and we beat Toulouse, then all 3 will be on the same points with two games left. Providing there's no surprise result between now and then of course.

| Tough game last night. Bulls clearly below par, Doncaster putting in a massive effort and ruck speed that was painfully slow. Coaching staff seem to believe at least one try incorrectly disallowed and a questionable 2nd one chalked off.
I'd love to see the stats for disallowed tries this year, it feels like we've had plenty chalked off in a competition where without video replays the benefit of doubt would usually go with the attacking side.
Though Hill showed some nice touches and we need to be alert to his offload skills. Keyes now showing some good form and the player we have been expecting to see - need to keep him fit for the final 6 or so matches.
Pleased to see us get over the line, in a game that was starting to feel a bit like Barrow at home when we came up short.

| Blimey we got away with that one. Donny the better team for most of the game. I thought Souter sparked things up when he came on. Lawrence and Hill settled things down in the last 15 by running direct. Terrible ref.

| Agreed. We were poor, in patches. We could never create any pressure or momentum as we ourselves, kept having errors, poor ends to sets and wrong last play decisions. But that’s on us, we have control over that. What we can’t control is What Donny were doing which was getting the ball out of play at the end of sets we had defended well on, therefore taking away our options to build pressure or momentum. Clever tactics I thought. The other factor was the ref. And arguing with him is pointless. All you can do is minimise his opportunities to screw us.
Strangely, I never thought we would lose that. We’ve a week off now, come at a good time for us.
