Very positive move. Ian Blease knows the club and city inside out and can appreciate the difficulties we have experienced over the last 20+ years. As a former captain and current supporter this job will mean a great deal to him. Granted he has no prior experience of running a professional sports club or association but at least he knows the game inside out and his recent experience as a player agent will stand him in good stead with regards to the administrative aspects.

This is potentially a good appointment. A CEO with RL experience and a passion for both the club and the sport. It will be interesting to see if he can make a positive impact at the club.
