I can only assume that the change is to increase the number of clubs in Super League to 14 clubs, since there aren`t sufficient UK born players of the required quality for the extra clubs yet?
I could accept that, if the number of overseas players allowed is incrementally reduced back to 7 over a 5 year period and then reduced further after that.
With the probable demise of Salford, that would mean 3 new clubs joining Super League in 2026.
Possibly London, and then Toulouse, York or Bradford.
