it is with a heavy heart that i post this. My friend, Martyn, who persuaded me to cross the road and attend my first ever RL game in 2002 has lost his battle with Cancer.
Ex British Army, Crabbster was a huge League fan, himself converted by Northern colleagues in the Army and a stalwart London Broncos ST holder who would treck from Stevenage to wherever we called home. We communicated often as we both fought the b'stard C and he always believed that the club would exist, forever, regardless of what division wenwere in.
Some may curse him for bringing you "gutters", but I will forever be thankful for him making me pay £14 to watch Cas knock us out if the cup that year.....6 VB's later I was hooked. RIP mate.
