I've always felt there's been an opportunity for a joint League/Union venture within one club. There's obviously a crossover, but one club playing in the winter, one in the summer so year round income, just one set of facilities and costs and the potential to tap into either code for talent. Done right I think it could work, I'm just not sure there's the desire as the risk would predominantly be on the Union club.
